Ankur Sabharwal is the founder and principal adviser at Visa Matters. Known for his strategic, honest, and results-driven approach, he personally oversees every case and specialises in complex, high-risk immigration matters.
Ankur holds a Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, where he graduated as a top-performing student. He was profiled on Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology’s website from mid-2019 to mid-2026. During this approximately seven-year period, Ankur appears to have been the only practising immigration adviser featured on the site. He also holds qualifications in Business and Marketing Management in New Zealand and Hospitality Management in the United Kingdom.
With over nine years’ experience and clients from more than 50 countries, Ankur advises across all areas of immigration: work, resident, visitor, student, family, and complex cases. His reputation for clear thinking and compassionate advocacy has made him one of New Zealand’s most respected advisers.

David is a fully licensed adviser with over a decade of experience in New Zealand immigration. He works behind the scenes on complex case strategy, compliance oversight, and quality assurance, ensuring every matter that leaves Visa Matters meets the highest professional standard.
Spela has been part of Visa Matters since day one. She helps prepare and review applications, supports clients and admin processes, and leads creative projects. Originally from Slovenia, Spela is completing her Graduate Diploma in Immigration Advice and brings both personal migrant experience and academic excellence to her role.
Nitika joined Visa Matters in 2023 and provides behind-the-scenes support in preparing immigration matters with accuracy and consistency. With an MBA in HR and Marketing and previous Canadian immigration experience, she is a calm and dependable part of our team.
